Responsible Gaming

Casino Rama is committed to delivering its products and services in a socially responsible manner. As a part of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming's "Code of Conduct Program" on Responsible Gaming, Casino Rama, through a series of initiatives, promises to strengthen its corporate commitment, enhance customer information and education programs and develop programs and policies that improve the gaming environment.



Responsible Gaming initiatives include:

1) Comprehensive training for all staff on Responsible Gaming. These programs were developed with the input and assistance of community partners and addiction specialists.

2) Prominent presentation of materials in all areas of Casino Rama (both public and staff areas) promoting Ontario's Problem Gambling Helpline 1-888-230-3505.

3) Providing information to all staff on the programs and services available to anyone calling Ontario's Problem Gambling Helpline.

4) Displaying on every slot machine in the casino, Ontario's Problem Gambling Helpline 1-888-230-3505

5) Supporting Georgian College's Addictions Program by participating on its Advisory Board, guest speaking lecture engagements, as well as sponsoring program scholarships and conference attendance.

6) Providing financial support to the Responsible Gambling Council's (Ontario) programs and services.

7) Participation in the province-wide 'Self-exclusion' program, whereby any patron can ask that they be refused future entry to all gaming facilities in Ontario.

8) Sponsoring the local First Nation's Addictions Counselling Program.

9) Referrals to Addictions Counsellors, for all employees and their family members as part of the Casino Rama Employee Assistance Program.
