RESPONSIBLE GAMING AT CASINO RAMA RESORT

ACCREDITATION

Casino Rama Resort has maintained its Responsible Gaming Accreditation since 2014. The Responsible Gaming Accreditation is a standard in which Casino Rama Resort’s Responsible Gaming Program is measured against eight core responsible gambling standards including corporate policies, self-exclusion, advertising and promotion, informed decision making, assisting patrons who may have problems with gambling, access to money, venue growth and game features and employee training.
This international accreditation supports our commitment to responsible gaming.

PLAYSMART

The PlaySmart Centre provides patrons and employees with information on safer gambling practices as well as assistance and local referrals for help with gambling-related problems. Operated by the Responsible Gambling Council of Ontario, the PlaySmart Centre is independent and information provided to PlaySmart is confidential. PlaySmart at Casino Rama Resort is located in the Bus Entrance of our venue.

PERSONAL FINANCIAL RESTRICTIONS

Casino Rama Resort offers patrons the option of enrolling into a Personal Financial Restriction Program. This Program is designed to allow patrons to limit the type of financial transactions they are able to complete while at the casino. If you would like to enroll in the program, please visit Casino Rama Resort’s Casino Cage or Credit Office. SELF-EXCLUSION PROGRAM

Every casino (commercial and charity), and slot facility in Ontario complies with The Ontario Lottery and Gaming’s  (OLG’s) Policy on Responsible Gaming, including participation in the “Self-Exclusion Program“, in which individuals request to have themselves placed on a “list” of self-excluded persons and refrain from visiting any property under OLG jurisdiction. A Self-Exclusion applies to all OLG gaming facilities, including commercial casinos, slot facilities, and charity casinos. ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will provide you with access to your personal information (i.e. win/loss statements, etc.) and will allow you to correct or update your personal information (i.e. address, phone number, mailings, etc.) in accordance with applicable law. Your request must be made in writing to our Chief Privacy Officer at the contact information below.  You will be required to provide us with a copy of your valid government-issued photo ID. The reason we ask for valid government-issued photo ID is to ensure that we do not unintentionally change or release your personal information to a third party who is representing him/herself as you.
